Abstract
The purpose of the current report is to study the prospects for the use of drones in the security activities offered Ьу public and private service providers in the Republic of Bulgaria. Here are presented the different types of drones, their main characteristics and the possibllities for their use in guarded bу Ministry of Interior, municipalities or private security companies areas. An analysis of the current regulations for the use of drones has been represented, and different problems have been identified in the way they are applicated. Measures have been proposed for their overcoming, due the prospects for the use of drones in security activities.
