Abstract

The present study unveils the use of two versions of dilemma based games in the training of managers. The methodology that is used is an empirical observation and analysis of data on the use of the games. It reveals the result of 720 choices made in 72 small groups in 23 games and summarizes the observed behavioral patterns and insights of the participants. The games reveal a high potential to expand the consciousness of the participants and provoke a process of perspective transformation in terms of their beliefs about the nature of trust, cooperation and competitiveness in the workplace. Thus, the use of the games in training can support transformative learning.
