Abstract
The paper presents leadership practices oriented to changes in the organizational culture of a medium-sized firm. What is described is the approach of a leader in his attempt to improve the effectiveness and image of the organization in order to achieve higher competitiveness, quality and results. The methodology used is the Cameron and Quinn instrument (OCAI) for analysis of existing and desired organizational culture. The report evaluates and compares two similar organizations - one in Bulgaria and one in Romania. Results of assessment activities are presented, as well as the implementation of changes and interventions leading to team and organizational development. The action plans and corrective actions are related to results achieved. The findings of the achievements and development guidelines are presented.
