Abstract
The paper analyses the dynamics of the Bulgarian GDP and its drivers in 2017, as well as the expectations made then for the economic growth and its factors in 2018. These expectations are compared to the last available data in the official national statistics for 2018, and the extent reported to which predicted trends correspond to the achieved real results of the Bulgarian economy.
