Abstract

Essential facts indicate that of all possible approaches to objectively determine the acceptable risk of technogenic impact on the human community, as a whole, or on the population of a certain region, the approach that gives the smallest values of the probability of damage should be chosen. There is no doubt that this is precisely the ecological approach, which, as an object of danger, considers not only man, but the entire complex of his environment, taking into account historically all its deviations from the natural state.
