Abstract
The purpose of the report is to present personnel selection policies of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria based on the legislative changes after 2014.
The author claims that these changes are related to the administrative reform introducing a radical overhaul of the legal regime for civil servants and payroll employees at the
ministry. The legal and comparative legal analysis of the current legislation has revealed specifi c problems in the selection procedures of the ministry staff and proposals have been made to solve these problems.
