Abstract

Accommodating gifted and talented students in the mainstream classroom is crucial to ensure that they receive appropriate challenges and support for their unique abilities and potential.
In this lecture module you will explore some learning and behavioral characteristics of gifted students. You will then be introduced to some classroom activities and strategies that help to engage gifted and talented children, make them feel valued and give them the appropriate academic challenge.
