Abstract

The report’s objects of research are the main requirements in the process of formulating the team goals. It’s focus lies on virtual teams (VT) – a small temporary groups of people with complementary knowledge and skills who work (communicate, interact and form relationships) across spatial, temporal and organizational boundaries through networks of communication technologies to achieve specific common goals and objectives. The structural characteristics of VT are being analyzed. The efforts are directed towards the formulation of specific goals, division of roles and responsibilities, methods of taking decisions, VT leadership and functions of the е-leader.
