Abstract

This study highlights the importance of cross-cultural communication for the successful development of tourism and the experience industry. The interaction between tourists, tourism staff and local communities is key to creating positive experiences during travel. In this regard, cultural differences are analyzed, which are found to influence tourists' preferences. The adaptation of tourist services to cultural features is also analyzed, which proves to be a competitive advantage. Non-verbal communication is also given importance, which is critical for positive interaction with tourists. Cross-cultural communication is essential for improving tourist experiences. Awareness and adaptation to cultural differences help avoid conflicts, build trust, increase customer loyalty and create long-term
relationships between tourists and local communities.
