Растителност и флора на природен парк Витоша – възможности за развитие на ботанически туризъм

Abstract

The survey examines the vegetation and flora of Vitosha Nature Park. It presents mostly rare, threatened, endemic and characteristic plant species of the nature park and their habitats, as well as their conservation value and attractiveness. An analysis of tourism supply has been made, including the recreation potential and operation of the existing botanical routes. The paper provides information for some best practices – botanical and thematic paths and panels, including for people with disabilities. General conclusions are given for specific products for botanical tourism in the context of the sustainable development in the protected area.
