Abstract
The presentation is structured in the form of messages to teachers: research mission, teaching mission, teaching work. Teacher of what (knowledge), how (skills) and why (competences). All European documents on the Educational Triad of formal, non-formal and informal education from 1972 to 2012 are reviewed. NBU is presented as an educational triad with an emphasis on informal education, for which the university has created conditions.
