Abstract

Creativity is a subject of increasing interest relevant to numerous professional settings as well as economic and cultural development in general. Creativity—the ability to produce work that is both original and adaptive—is the object of recent research in cognitive and organizational sciences. This 5-day summer school will examine the current state-of-the-art through conferences by leading researchers. Both fundamental and applied issues will be examined. Topics covered will include : The multivariate nature of creativity, creative and practical intelligence, personality and creative performance, organizational climate and creativity, idea management, the creative design process, the sociology of innovation.
