Abstract

This article summarizes the legal essence of the factoring contract defining it as a bilateral and causal trade contract with continuous performance, which can be concluded as a formal transaction.
The factoring contract is distinguished from similar legal phenomena. It is assumed that this contract is not a sui generis or mixed transaction, but a cession.
