Abstract

You Never Knew Exactly How Much Space You Occupied in People’s Lives: Insights in Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night: The paper uncovers different insights in one of the most significant novels in American literature. Tender Is the Night (1934) combines humane values with instances of traumatic experience: love, responsibility, medical care, patient-doctor and husband-wife relationships, coupled with wounds and tragic action. The depth of the novel is revealed in terms of analyses of the sidestepped, but important focal points of the novel.
