Abstract

Georgi Bozhilov-Slona (1935-2001). Portraits of the Spirit is a product of years of collection and research. Side by side with paintings who have already gained their rightful place in the history of modern Bulgarian art, the book reveals less known works from private and public collections, in Bulgaria and abroad. At the same time, the text tries to interpret the artist’s revelations about the human being and to define our encounters with the special world created by Georgi Bozhilov-Slona.
