Abstract

The article construes Media Literacy as a concept in Test Theory, including knowledge and skills. The historical development of introducing its set of features into education at high-school level in England and Canada is traced in time, highlighting the rationale and objectives behind each adoption. Finally, a curriculum is presented created for a course in Media Studies integrated into foreign language learning adapted for Bulgarian tertiary education.
