Стенописи от Коста Геров-Антикаров в храма на Кладнишкия манастир. Опит за атрибуция

Abstract

In the current text, the author examines the wall decoration of the Church in Kladnitsa Monastery of St. Nicholas of Myra the Wonderworker with a view to a possible attribution of the frescoes to the Samokov icon-painter Kosta Gerov-Antikarov. Based on a stylistic analysis, iconographic parallels and comparison with signed or well-documented works of his, the hypothesis is substantiated as to which part of the fresco decoration is his work.
