Abstract
The report defines the logo and trade mark concepts. It also clarifies the role of the logo as the key element of the trade mark. The other basic elements of the trade mark are defined. The stages of the creation of the trade marks are pointed out. The concepts of "trade mark" and "company identity" are made clear. The types of trade marks are defined. Protection of the trade mark is introduced. The new practice of trade mark licencing is formulated.
