Abstract

This topic presents the influence of the corporate identity over different types of a company interior. The article examines the history of the logo as a company identity basis. The study traces back its evolution since its creation in Antiquity, using the pictogram and its superior form-the ideogram as a model, then follows the appearance of first emblems of the crafts’ guild in the Middle Ages to modern corporate vision and image. It takes up the structure of the corporate identity and the interior as its basic element. The company identity into the interior is displayed by logo presence, usage of company colors and types of visual communication, and organization of functional areas. Interior identity is classified by branches-hotels, boutiques, trade chains, banks, mobile operators, auto showrooms, catering establishments, hairdresser’s and cosmetic salons.
