Abstract
I’ll Be So Beautiful for You: The Significance of Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams”: The paper focuses upon one of Fitzgerald’s best short stories. The protagonist Dexter Green, evidently a significant figure in American literature of the 1920s and in modern literature in general, falls in love for good with Judy Jones, a famous and rich belle. The exciting and bitter finale to their relationship marks the end of Dexter’s illusions. Nonetheless, his romantic dream that love is eternal, stays alive, though very badly hurt.
