Abstract

The article offers a contrastive analysis (Hebrew-Bulgarian) of the verbal character of non-finite forms and their ability to take objects, adverbials and/or attributes. Various degrees of verbal behaviour are established of hybrid forms (participles and verbal nouns) with the help of the concept of “semantic government”
